Phill started in the family business in 1980; working his way up from the ground, he learned his trade from his father and the skilled workers around him. Phill’s focus was to encompass all aspects of fastener manufacture, from goods inwards to despatch, including all machining operations. Phill remains an operational Managing Director but when he is not at work, he enjoys gardening, the theatre, trips to the cinema and travel.
Karen has been a key member of staff for 26 years, previously working within the banking, advertising & PR industry – gaining a wealth of valuable experience to help drive the business Forward. When Karen does have some time away from the office, she enjoys musical theatre, gardening and holidays with the family.
Kelly has been with Forward Fasteners for 10 years working within the Accounts Department. Kelly looks after all areas of the accounts from credit control through to purchasing. Kelly has over 25 year’s experience within Administration and Graphic Design. When Kelly isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her family visiting National Trust houses, going to sporting events and family holidays.
Paul worked for Masons Fasteners Ltd for 25 years in various roles, from Production Manager to General Manager. When not assisting our fantastic customers with their projects, Paul plays competitive snooker in the Birmingham Efficiency League.
Terry started his Tool setting career as an apprentice over 18 years ago, with 12 of those years working for Caparo Atlas Fasteners. When Terry is not managing the factory, he enjoys family holidays abroad and watching football.
With over 25 years of toolmaking experience, mainly within the fastener industry, Alan’s expertise enables us to engineer tooling to suit the complexity of our customers’ parts. Alan enjoys crown green bowls, snooker and, when not too busy at Forward, he likes going away on holiday with his family.
Paul has over 30 years’ experience of working for various Fastener suppliers to the automotive industry, including Linread Automotive, Ephraim Phillips and Pattern Fasteners. When Paul is not managing our production, he can often be found at Bournville Rugby Club.
Many of Lyndon’s 40 years in the industry were spent at Linread Automotive, where he worked his way up to Production Manager. When Lyndon is not setting our trimming and rolling machines, he enjoys walking and spending time with his family.
Dane started with Forward in a non-skilled role, quickly working his way up to setting heading machines and training on the thread rolling section. Dane is a keen footballer, currently managing a U6 football team and working towards his FA Coaching Badges.
Gary started in our despatch area, palletising parts and raising orders for heat treatment and plating. When he’s not ensuring our customers get their parts on time, Gary enjoys spending time with his grandchildren.
Our broad range has evolved and now we are proud to offer sizes and finishes from 1.5mm to 18mm in diameter and up to 200mm in length.
